Streaming & Support Assistant

We seek a Technical Streaming & Support Assistant with 1 year experience managing digital channels, video editing, production, and live streaming with high-quality.
  • Initiate live game broadcasts for TV networks and other media outlets, coordinating the operation from Mango’s own platform or the one determined by the client.
  • Provide real-time technical support on multiple devices simultaneously (in case there are game broadcasts at the same time) to ensure that the broadcasts and recordings are error-free.
  • Be in constant contact with the client during broadcasts to correct any errors in transmission or recordings.
  • Work with Mango’s platform in different modules to collect information on the games broadcasted.
  • Generate documentation if applicable.

Responsibilities

Education Level:

  • Technical, Technologist or Professional in audiovisual and/or digital media, TV, cinema and photography, digital marketing.
  • Technical, Technologist, or Professional in systems engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or related areas.
  • Optional: Graduate of technical or technologist courses from SENA in systems and software development areas

Technical Knowledge:

  • Desirable handling of high-quality video and audio production and mixing software.
  • Connection methods, RTMP, SRT, UDP.
  • Video qualities (8 & 4k HD, SD, Ld) and sound (2,4 sound channels, etc.) and their technical implications.
  • Editing, production, and management of real-time audio and video connectivity protocols.
  • Online communication applications and social networks.

General Experience:

  • Desirable 6 months of experience in managing digital channels, video editing, and production, as well as live streaming with high-quality audio and video.

Specific Experience:

  • Desirable audio and video testing implementation, real-time hardware and software connection procedures.

Languages:

  • Spanish (native)
  • English (B2 level according to the Common European Framework)

Technical Equipment:

  • Having multiple devices to simultaneously monitor broadcasts is essential for the job. If the employee has their equipment, it must meet minimum technical requirements such as connection quality and bandwidth, and must also be sufficient to carry out the work, even in contingencies such as loss of internet signal, power source fluctuations, power outages, etc.
