Automation, Integration, & Cloud for Diagnostic Imaging in Servisalud
The Challenge
Lots of Inefficiency...
Servisalud was facing multiple bottlenecks in its diagnostic imaging workflow: manual processes, result delivery via CDs, rework due to human error, and an inefficient clinical experience. The lack of integration with their previous PACS system and the absence of digital tools for data capture and management made daily operations difficult, affecting both the medical team and the patients.
Turnaround times were lengthy, especially during the interpretation phase. Radiologists spent too much time reading images and writing reports, which reduced patient throughput. Additionally, data duplication and scattered records caused frequent errors, and the use of CDs resulted in unnecessary logistical and operational costs.
The Solution
Development of an end-to-end workflow
Together with our local partner Ajoveco SAS, we conducted a full operational assessment at Servisalud and designed a fully digital end-to-end workflow. This new ecosystem was integrated directly with the new clinic's PACS (Synapse), eliminated manual tasks, and enabled modern management of studies, images, and reports.

Integration with PACS (Synapse)
Our solution was connected directly to the new installed PACS system, creating a structured, state-based workflow. This enabled the organization of worklists and ensured that each study had a unique identifier, guaranteeing traceability from image capture to the final report.
SOLUTION #2
Mango Cache – Smart patient registration
To avoid data duplication and speed up registration, Mango Cache was implemented. It automatically verifies if a patient is already registered using their ID number. This significantly reduced registration times and errors in forms.

Mango Forms – Structured reports
Using Mango Forms enabled the standardization of medical report generation with structured fields. This not only improved diagnostic presentation but also created a database ready for advanced analysis or future AI model training.

Mango Gateway – Cloud-based diagnostic imaging
To modernize result delivery, Mango Gateway was implemented. It acts as a bridge between the local PACS and the cloud. Studies are stored in real time as original DICOM files, eliminating the need for CDs. The solution is scalable and pay-as-you-go, adapting to the clinic’s growth.

Mango Dictation
To optimize interpretation times, Mango Dictation was integrated, allowing radiologists to record voice notes directly linked to the study in PACS. These recordings are processed into structured reports faster and with less operational burden.
