Disconnected Data and Failing Infrastructure

Alta was facing two major obstacles that were holding back its day-to-day operations:

Scattered data sources

Key information lived across systems like TecFinanzas, Negozia Consumer Finance, Wolkvox, Siigo, and even Excel. Having multiple versions of the truth made it hard to analyze and act quickly.

Declining on-premise infrastructure

Their local servers had reached end-of-life. The hardware was old, slow, and nearly out of storage, putting the company’s stability at risk.

THE SOLUTION

Data Integration + Full Cloud Migration

The project was rolled out in two main phases:

INTEGRATION

1. Data Integration with ESB

Centralized orchestration: An ESB was implemented as the core integration engine, collecting and processing data from all sources.
Near real-time updates: Through APIs, webhooks, and daily scheduled jobs, the system ensures the data stays fresh and up to date.
One cloud-based database: All data was unified and stored in a PostgreSQL instance hosted on AWS, ready for analysis and reporting.

MIGRATION

2. Full AWS Migration

Modernized services: Key services like Active Directory, network configurations, and security policies were migrated to AWS.
Hybrid and remote connectivity: A Site-to-Site VPN connected the office to the cloud, and a Client VPN gave employees secure remote access—enabling safe, seamless operations from anywhere.
